Hynds Pipe Systems is a proudly New Zealand-owned organisation with a strong reputation in manufacturing and infrastructure. We are seeking a Gatehouse Administrator to manage site access, weighbridge operations, and deliveries at our Pokeno site.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, operational environment, enjoys coordinating processes, and wants to make a real impact by keeping site operations safe, efficient, and smooth.

**About the role**

As Gatehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing all site entry, contractor and visitor management, and weighbridge operations. You will coordinate deliveries, issue PPE, maintain records, and ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency across the site.

**Key responsibilities include:**
  • Controlling inwards and outwards barriers during site hours
  • Completing site inductions and contractor onboarding
  • Coordinating deliveries, product collections, and vehicle access
  • Operating the weighbridge and reconciling delivery dockets in M3 or weighbridge software
  • Issuing and controlling loan PPE for visitors
  • Managing site security systems and pool vehicles
  • Supporting operational teams with paperwork, courier packages, and site tours
  • Maintaining site tidiness and office supplies
  • Following Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and reporting hazards

**About you**

You are organised, reliable, and people-focused, with strong attention to detail. You enjoy coordinating processes, communicating clearly with a range of people, and taking pride in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
  • Experience in administration, operations, or a similar support role
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Confidence using software and systems to manage records and reporting
  • A proactive approach to Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
  • Professional, approachable communication style with internal and external stakeholders
