Stock Integrity Team Member (Stocktake Assistant)

Permanent Part-time – 20 hours per week

Mitre 10 is a family business and New-Zealand's leading DIY retailer, we are the go-to for expert project advice and are known for helping kiwis get the job done right – and we couldn't do that without tight stock control, behind every great product on our shelves is a team making it all tick, we have a permanent part-time role in our Stock Integrity Team that we are looking to fill.

This role is an integral part of the business, assisting the Stocktake Co-ordinator with managing stock integrity. This role is responsible for the accurate counting of stock, ensuring stock is inputted into the system and variances investigated.

This role has a Monday to Friday roster pattern, working 20 hours per week, with early morning starts of 7am.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer literacy and laser sharp attention to detail
• Previous experience in stock control would be an advantage
• Great time management and flexibility to adapt to fast moving situations
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service
• A good level of physical fitness as this role involves walking and standing on concrete floors, manual handling and ladder use.
