This role is ideal for an operator who:- Wants to contribute to the restoration of land with historical and community significance
- Enjoys precision work and takes pride in a top finish
- Can think ahead, adapt when plans change, and stay calm under pressure
- Wants steady work with a professional civil team and room to grow
- Operating excavators (20T & 13T) and rollers
- Supporting demolition works, including safe and efficient machine-based deconstruction
- Completing final trim to ±10mm
- Preparing surfaces for asphalt and concrete
- Working across varied environments and site conditions
- Communicating clearly with supervisors, crews, and clients
- Proven excavator operating experience (13T+)
- Strong final trim skills (to 10mm)
- Solid understanding of surface prep for asphalt and concrete
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good judgment and problem-solving ability
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Professional approach with customers and suppliers
- Ongoing, stable civil pipeline in a growing Waikato region

This role is not suited to trainees or entry-level operators – proven experience and confidence in final trim work is essential.
