Small business owners are drowning in traditional accounting reports they don’t understand — and it’s hurting their businesses. We plug into Xero (QuickBooks coming soon), and within minutes, business owners get visual dashboards that finally make sense.

It’s simple, fast, and genuinely life-changing for those who use it.

We’ve been bootstrapping and building quietly for a few years, and we’re now racing toward our first 1,000 customers by Christmas — on track, profitable, and scaling fast. This is your chance to jump in before the hockey stick and shape a product that's heading from 7 to 9 figures in value.

We’re on the hunt for a UX/UI designer who’s not just talented — but tuned in to the way business owners think. Your mission: Make complex financial data feel effortless, obvious, and even fun

• Have a strong UX eye and a knack for simplifying complexity
• Think in systems but design for business owners
• Can design entire user journeys, not just individual screens
• Are fluent in Figma (we’ve got a base system there, but many new features will be from scratch)
• Understand the basics of small business accounting, or are excited to learn
• Love clean, modern, intuitive interfaces — the kind people say "oh wow, this just makes sense"

• Designing new features from concept to hand-off
• Improving existing flows to make them faster, cleaner, more intuitive
• Creating dashboards that make cash flow feel like a superpower
• Collaborating closely with the founder (me), our developers, and our team of advisors/accountants to shape user needs into beautiful tools
• Building out component libraries and UI systems that scale
• Listening to customer feedback and making the product better, week by week
• You'll get to work with the product team, Development team and marketing team, who are all an absolute blast and are total A-players

We’re a remote team of 12, mostly in NZ, meeting in-person once a quarter. If you're NZ-based, great — but remote works too.

We’re open to a trial contract or a fixed-term project, with the opportunity to scale into a permanent leadership role as we grow.
