We are based in Balfour (Southland, NZ) and are within an hours drive to Invercargill, Te Anau or Queenstown.

We service the Northern Southland District - Balfour, Lumsden, Athol, Five Rivers, Mossburn, Mavora and everywhere in between. Our season runs for 6mths - from mid October through to March/April.

The successful applicants will hold a Full Drivers Licence.
Holding a Class 5 HT will be an advantage.

And you must be able to prove your work experience.

The machinery we operate; * Claas 960 and 940 Choppers

JCB Loader
Krone self propelled Mowers
Claas 4 Rotor rakes
Massey Ferguson and Fendt tractors
8 & 6 Wheel Scania Trucks
Massey Ferguson RPV160 Baler Wrapper.

We are seeking workers who have at least 2 years experience in the Silage and Baling industry and know how to independently maintain and manage their own gear.
Key tasks of position, but not limited to; * Driving a range of Machinery (above) in a team environment to harvest Grass Silage and Baleage.

Maintaining and repairing your machinery to a high standard.
Understanding and complying with all Health and Safety regulations.
Daily checking of equipment.
Recording your daily duties including any health and safety incidents.
Following instructions of the Operations Manager to complete the job to a satisfactory standard.
Working happily within a team.

Minimum $25/hr to maximum of $38/hr. With a minimum of 30hours per week.
