Forklift Operator – Machine Shop

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to support the day-to-day running of our machine shop.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Loading timber packs in front of machines (bandsaw, docking saw & planers)
- Removing finished packs from machines
- Wrapping and strapping finished packs of weatherboard, flooring, and similar products
- Organizing the dry store to support efficient machine shop operations
- Stacking timber packs safely and correctly
The Ideal Applicant Will:
- forklift licence
- Have proven forklift experience handling timber (essential)
- Work well as part of a team and demonstrate a strong eye for quality
- Be reliable, motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work
About Us
We are a well-established timber processing company carrying out all facets of wood processing, including kiln drying, machining, and finishing.
Requirements- Must have own transport (site is not serviced by public transport)
- Must have NZ residency or a valid work visa
Position Details
Full-time role
Current hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
Additional work available on Fridays from time to time
