About the Role:
We are seeking full-time and part-time Plumbing Sales & Warehouse Assistants to support our daily operations. This is a hands-on role combining customer service, sales, warehouse duties, and stock management.
You will be the face of NZ Pipe, serving plumbers, builders, contractors, and walk-in customers while also ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in being organised, and is keen to learn or grow within the plumbing supply industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales- Serve trade and retail customers at the counter and over the phone
- Assist customers with product selection and basic technical advice
- Process sales, invoices, quotes, and payments accurately
- Build strong relationships with repeat trade customers
- Handle customer enquiries, returns, and order follow-ups professionally
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory control
- Load and unload deliveries safely
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Support the team during busy periods
- Assist management with general store and operational tasks
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential- Experience in plumbing, building supplies, hardware, or trade retail
- Knowledge of plumbing products and fittings
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit (some lifting required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Warehouse or stock-handling experience
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
Training will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Hours & Employment Type:
Full-time: Monday to Saturday (Business may eventually open on Sundays too)Part-time: Flexible hours available (ideal for students or parents)
Our Opening Hours: Monday-Friday: 8 am - 4:30 pmSaturday: 8 am - 2 pm
