At SAKIMOTO, we’re proud to offer warm hospitality, authentic Japanese food, and a calm, detail-focused atmosphere. We are open for dinner 7 days a week from 5:00 pm, with closing time depending on the day and season. We open on most public holidays (excluding Christmas & New Year).

• Part-Time / Casual FOH All-Rounder
• 1–5 shifts per week (more during busy times)
• Flexible, fairly regular roster
• Weekend and public holiday availability expected
• Starting from $23.50/hour
• Reviewed regularly – up to $28 based on experience/skills
• Key Tasks
• All FOH duties: customer service, basic bar work, dish-up (pass), opening/closing, cleaning
• Shared duties: dishwashing, rubbish out, equipment maintenance
• Learn to use till & EFTPOS systems

• Hospitality or service industry experience
• Available evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Friendly, professional, and reliable
• Strong English communication (spoken & written)
• Calm and efficient under pressure
• Able to work independently and find tasks proactively
• Knowledge or interest in Japanese/NZ dining culture & basic regulations
