Production Worker
The Production team at Scarborough Fare prepare for and care for all of our 15 different culinary herb crops, the structures they grow in and the plant and equipment required to run the operation. The role is 40 hours per week, 7.15am till 4pm, Sunday to Thursday.
You will be planting, weeding, post harvest trimming, pushing barrows, collecting important growing system data, pest and disease monitoring and reporting, spraying crops and repairing and maintaining greenhouses, irrigation systems and anything and everything else that makes a day on the herb farm tick.
We have a structured approach to each day, recording real time data utilizing devices and custom built software, with well thought out workplans that deliver daily outcomes.
The work is full of variety, is physical but not exceptionally heavy and hands on.
This role will suit someone that likes the outdoors, wants a solid 5 day a week opportunity and works well in a small team.
We are in Otaua, 10 minutes south of the Waiuku township.
