About the role:
As a PPF Installer you will be responsible for the installation process from start to finish, ensuring excellent results for our customers working with our wider team. You may also work on vinyl car wraps when required.
You’ll be working on a wide range of vehicles, so a sharp eye for detail, pride in your work, and a commitment to quality are essential. Responsibilities:
- Inspect and prepare the vehicle’s paintwork prior to installation of PPF or vinyl wrapping
- Install PPF or vinyl wrap on the vehicle using precision cutting techniques and specialized tools.
- Ensure that the PPF or vinyl is free of bubbles, wrinkles, and other defects.
- Communicate effectively with team and management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in PPF and vinyl technologies
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure clarity, satisfaction, and timely completion of service requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to support efficient workflow and service delivery.
- At least 2 years experience installing PPF or car vinyl wraps
- Familiarity with computerized cutting systems (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive paint and bodywork
- Ability to use specialized PPF installation and vinyl wrapping tools and equipment
- Knowledge of automotive paint systems, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, learn new skills, and embrace innovation in the automotive detailing industry.
