Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Motorcycle Tyre Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with motorcycle tyre fitting, brake pad replacements, oil changes, and various general workshop tasks.If you’re passionate about motorcycles and have the technical skills to back it up, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Be a friendly and professional point of contact for our clientele, ensuring a positive first impression with Cycletreads.
Fit and balance motorcycle tyres with precision and care.
Perform brake pad/chain and sprocket replacements and oil changes as needed, maintaining an acute eye for detail.
Handle motorcycles safely, including manoeuvring them onto and off workbenches.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.
Provide excellent customer service and technical advice when required.
Requirements
MUST HAVE: Proven, hands-on experience in motorcycle tyre fitting and a motorcycle mechanic background.
A deep understanding of motorcycle mechanics and maintenance.
Ability to handle all types of motorcycles with care, including wheeling and positioning them.
Good problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Relevant trade qualifications or proven experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
Prior experience issuing Warrants of Fitness (WoF) or conducting full servicing on motorcycles is advantageous but not essential.
