Duyvestyn Drainage /Goodrick Contracting is a dynamic and growing business, committed to excellence in service and operations. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our Administration team and contribute to the smooth running of our accounting and financial processes.
This position is Office based - Monday to Friday -30 hours p/week
Key Responsibilities:- Process payables invoices, purchase orders, and payments with a high level of accuracy and data entry in a timely manner
- Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes
- Assist with payroll, and expense processing as required
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and other departments
- Provide administrative support to the finance and wider team.
- Proven experience in an accounts or finance administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or business (desirable but not essential)
- Eligible to work in New Zealand
