Field Application Engineer

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering electrical services to our established and growing client base in the Water, Power and Agri sectors across New Zealand.
Specifically, you will:- Provide customers services such as the configuration, installation, commissioning of Telemetry Networks, IoT systems and SMART devices.
- Provide timely, efficient, and professional technical support & maintenance services not only in these areas but also potentially to the wider industrial electrical market.
- A relevant tertiary technician or trades qualification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in field installation & maintenance roles.
- A working knowledge of water & power industry standards and control philosophies.
- SCADA/Telemetry & IoT knowledge & practical experience is essential.
- Need to be flexible & able to travel both locally and within New Zealand.
- Have the ability to manage your own time and be committed & motivated to complete work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Be a proficient communicator and well presented.
- Must be a team player but comfortable working independently when necessary.
