  • term opportunity based at national office in Wellington Mō te tūnga | About the roleThis 12‑month fixed‑term role provides senior‑level project coordination support to the Housing on Corrections Land (HOCL) Additional Capacity programme, a nationally significant initiative delivering purpose‑built housing on Corrections sites to support safe reintegration outcomes.Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, Operational Lead and Programme Manager, you will support programme planning, coordination and sequencing, ensuring activities are well organised and aligned with governance and delivery requirements.

You will also provide day‑to‑day programme coordination and administration, including meeting minutes, travel bookings and invoice processing.A key focus of the role is supporting the development of high‑quality investment and programme documentation, including feasibility material, draft business cases, A3 briefs and Project Management Plans, ensuring these clearly reflect risks, dependencies, costs and benefits.The role also supports programme reporting, risk and issue management, and stakeholder coordination across multiple sites.

Based within the Infrastructure and Digital Assets group, this position requires strong organisational capability, sound judgement and the ability to operate effectively in a complex environment.
Mōu | About youTo be successful in this role, you will have experience as a Project Coordinator within asset, property, or construction environments and the ability to support large scale and complex projects.You will also bring:High quality project coordination capability, including preparing funding papers, A3 briefs, and project documentation for governance and funding approvalsStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build consensus across internal and external stakeholdersExperience identifying risks and issues and supporting mitigation to enable successful delivery outcomesFamiliarity with programme and project management frameworks including P3M3, change and benefits frameworks, and investment casesThe ability to manage competing priorities and contribute positively to team outcomes Ngā painga | The benefitsThe midpoint of the salary range is $110,523 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $93,945
  • $132,628 per annum.
