OCS Christchurch is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join their busy crew. You will be well supported, trained and busy in this role.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday - 5am to 12pm
Purpose:To lead cleaning services and directly participate in cleaning activities. Staff in this job function will report to the Contracts Manager. The cleaning supervisor will direct and take responsibility for the daily activities of all cleaning personnel assigned.
Some of your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Supporting the Contract Manager
- Covering site when cleaning staff are absent or coordinating relief cleaners assigned by site management
- Conduct site inductions for new personnel, including correct use of PPE and health and safety requirements
- Maintain on-the-job training routines for all cleaners, and file the relevant records at the office
- Establish and maintain professional relations with members of the cleaning team
- Evaluate and report on the use of cleaning products, materials and equipment
- This is a physical, hands-on role, you will need to put your cleaning skills to use
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Eligible to work in New Zealand
- A full NZ Driver's License is essential
- Reliable transport to get to and from work
- No Criminal background as Ministry of Justice and NZ Police Clearances are required and must be clear at all times
- Have a good eye for detail and excellent leadership skills
- Be able to use your initiative and work well on your own
- Good understanding of the English language
- Computer literate in excel and Microsoft office systems
- Physically fit (Must be able to lift up to 25kg)
