We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the modern Waikato workshop for a long term opportunity. In this hands-on role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of truck brands including Scania, DAF, Hino, Freightliner and Trailers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions in diesel engines
- Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy machinery
- Troubleshoot and fix electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Apply in-depth knowledge of diesel engine technology and components
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication with clients
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Support a safe and efficient workshop environment at all times
- Consistent hours of potentially 45+ Hours Weekly
- Work alongside other supportive highly skilled Mechanics

- Trade qualification in heavy automotive engineering
- Minimum 4 years experience working on trucks and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills across diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
