ABOUT THE ROLE:We're on the lookout for an experienced automotive superstar! Someone who's truly passionate about keeping our promise of delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this position, you'll ensure efficient and prompt servicing and repairs for our customers' vehicles, contributing to their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Duties of the role includes:- Repair vehicles and conduct maintenance inspections promptly with exceptional quality.
- Independently perform preventive maintenance on various vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle diagnosis
- Knowledge of how to use a diagnostic scan tool would be advantageous or be willing to learn
- Ensure that all servicing and repairs follow specifications and standards.
- Utilise skills and knowledge to diagnose problems with a range of vehicles.
- Interact in a professional manner with customers and suppliers.
- Be confident in using the workshop software program and carry out quotes and invoicing when required
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment
- Support and contribute to the effective operations of the workshop.
- A current Trade Certificate or a similar recognised qualification or 3+ years’ experience as an Automotive Technician (Mechanic)
- An excellent track record
- Commitment and a positive attitude to customer service
- Be a team player
- Be conversant with all current servicing processes
- The ability to converse clearly with customers on a daily basis
- Applicants for this role will require NZ residency / or valid NZ work permit and a current Drivers Licence.
The role is full time Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm but we would be open and flexible to work around the right candidate’s commitments if needed.
