We are looking for a dedicated Personal Assistant & Administrator to deliver exceptional support to our Service Manager and ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of the department.In this role, you will provide essential administrative and data entry support, contributing to the smooth and professional running of the General Surgery Service.Your efficient support will be key to enabling the Service Manager and the wider team to focus on delivering excellent patient care.This is a full-time, fixed-term position until May 2026, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Middlemore Hospital.About YouWe are looking for a proactive, composed, and highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting healthcare teams.To succeed, you will bring:2–3 years’ experience providing personal assistant or senior staff supportAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and VisioStrong report writing, diary management, and office administration skillsA positive, flexible attitude with a “can-do” approach to meeting deadlinesWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
