Permanent position, based at Tauranga HospitalFull-time hours availableA strong team approach to support you in the role and your own wellbeingAbout the RoleWe are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Assistants to join our Adult Inpatient Mental Health Team at Tauranga Hospital.
This role will be working in Te Whare Maiangiangi, our Adult Inpatient Unit at Tauranga hospital, where our clients are aged 18 - 65. The team consists of experienced multi-disciplines, including nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologist, psychiatrists, pharmacist, physiotherapist, and Pou Kokiri cultural advisor.
Our team culture is nurturing in nature, and we are supportive of active learning, both practically and academically. We are passionate about improving health outcomes for people entering our unit. If you are interested in joining a dedicated team with a high focus on the values of compassion, all one team, responsiveness, and excellence in service development, this may be the position for you.
We have permanent positions with both part-time and full-time hours available. Please specify in your cover letter what hours you are applying for.About You Ideally you will have a Level 4 Health Care Assistant qualification or equivalent or be prepared to undertake the relevant training.
