About us
We are a busy practice supporting the local community. We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly and caring team.
This is a front-line role working 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday.You will be responsible for supporting patients and clinicians while ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the practice.
We’re looking for a professional, well-organised individual who can manage competing priorities and work accurately in a busy environment.
Our clinic is opposite the Avondale train station, and there is parking in the surrounding streets.
What you'll be doing- Providing front-desk reception and administrative support to patients and clinical staff
- Booking appointments and managing patient records
- Handling patient enrolments, transfers, and information requests
- Processing invoices, payments, claims, and managing debt collection
- General administrative duties to support practice operations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Experience using Indici, Medtech, or other practice management software
- Permanent work rights in NZ, with no restrictions
- Professional, personable, and confident communicator
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Reliable, positive, and a collaborative team member.
