About the Role

As a Nurse Educator, you will support the continuing professional development of nursing staff, facilitate evidence-based learning, and lead initiatives that improve health equity and outcomes. You'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evaluating education programmes that prepare our workforce for a diverse and evolving healthcare environment.

This role also provides opportunities to lead quality improvement projects and contribute to strategic nursing development.

About the Team

You'll be part of the Nga Manu Teka Nursing Practice Development Team, reporting to the Associate Director of Nursing and Lead Nurse Ediucator and working alongside other senior nurses and educators. Our team is collaborative, values-driven, and committed to excellence in clinical practice and education.

About you

You will bring:

  • NZ Registered Nurse status with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Experience in medical or surgical nursing
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and cultural responsiveness
  • Ideally, a Master's qualification and Designated Senior Nurse PDRP portfolio (or working towards)
