The Operations Manager – Auckland is a new, full time permanent position that will oversee the daily delivery to clients, working closely with the Business Delivery Manager, Project Manager and Project Co-ordinators to ensure smooth operations and ensuring services are delivered to high standards, and on time.This role also includes managing a team of Auckland-based Rope Access Technicians, approving leave requests, conducting performance reviews, and providing leadership and guidance to ensure team effectiveness. This position includes job and people management as well as 'time on the tools' (approx.
40% of the role).
As our Auckland Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include; * Managing all aspects of the work schedule (clients, staff, access, H&S, and all communications) including reports to clients, and invoicing.- Lead weekly Toolbox Meetings.
- Ensure timely, accurate and complete record keeping into company systems
- 5+ years of experience in rope access, ideally with supervisor experience or project/ operations management
- Strong knowledge of NZ building codes, various application methodologies, and construction contract delivery
- Sound financial acumen, ability to assess site and job-related risks, and produce reports
- Confident in using integrated software and the Microsoft suite
- Strong written and verbal communication and people management skills
