Night Porter
The Role | Te mahi
We are seeking a Night Porter to provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds expectations of our guests.
This full-time permanent role (32 hours per week) is based at Novotel Christchurch Airport.
Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa- Providing a warm and welcoming environment within our hotel where everyone feels at home.
- Assisting with valet parking and luggage.
- Supporting the Night Manager with guest requests/tasks and overnight checks to be completed
- Resolve any guest issues promptly and successfully ensuring follow-up and excellent communication at all times
- Hotel security floor checks
- Providing local information on Christchurch and the surrounding area
- Help guests with booking activities, restaurants, and travel options
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment in all common areas, both inside and outside the hotel
- Fix minor technical issues, like changing bulbs, remote control batteries
- Comply with health and safety regulations and follow emergency evacuation procedures
Requirements
About you | Ko koe tenei- Must be available to work overnight
- Confident and motivated with a strong guest service orientation
- Professional personal presentation and a great work ethic
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable in approach and a team player.
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
- Full New Zealand Drivers License
- Right to Work in NZ
