Casual Class 4 Truck Driver - West Auckland

Essential Bulk Liquids is a bulk water company based in Auckland. We cover the Greater Auckland region, from Topuni to the Bombays, delivering bulk drinking water to residential and commercial customers.

As a casual Class 4 Truck Driver, you will safely operate Essential Bulk Liquids Limited’s vehicles for the transportation of Bulk Water to customers.

• Understanding how to operate and drive the assigned vehicle safely to transport goods to the intended destination.
• Performing daily inspections of the vehicle.
• Planning the best and safest driving route that minimises distance and travel time and ensures timely transport and delivery.
• Focusing on compliance with Essential Bulk Liquids Limited's Health and Safety Risk Management plans and processes.

• Road Ranger gearbox experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of truck mechanics and maintenance.
• Class 4 Drivers Licence
• A customer focused approach to deliver high-quality service to customers by completing deliveries safely and on time, following customer site procedures, and maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively both in a team environment and autonomously to achieve business goals.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and risk management.
• Good geographical knowledge of Greater Auckland
• Ability to use satellite tracking ERoad equipment
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for log book completion and measuring/weighing loads.
• Ability to work as and when required, including weekend work.
• Somewhere safe to park the truck.
