About the RoleWe have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join our Te Manawa Taki regional team as a Public Health Planning, Policy and Performance Senior Advisor.This role holds strong subject matter expertise, writing and relationship skills, can lead projects of work and will provide leadership on a mix of short- and longer-term mahi within the Planning, Policy and Performance team. This will include analysis of significant policy developments/changes impacting public health, preparation of policy papers, and horizon scanning to identify emerging issues and opportunities of significance to the Public Health Service within the Region.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe NPHS within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.
