About the Role

We have the opportunity for a qualified Sonographer to join our Radiology team, based across Waitakere Hospital (271 Beds) and North Shore Hospital (631 Beds). Te Whatu Ora, Waitemata District serves an ever-growing population of over 640,000 people, throughout the communities in the western and northern regions of Auckland.

This is a permanent role and we are open to applications from people who can work part time or full time hours.

One of the attractions is the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic imaging team. These busy ultrasound departments will offer you work that will be varied and interesting including general, obstetrics, paediatric, vascular and some musculoskeletal examinations.

As these are training hospitals, you will be able to broaden your knowledge and experience and further develop your career whilst making a valued contribution to the teaching of others.

About you

We are seeking a Sonographer with vascular training experience, a passion for teaching, learning, and working in a team environment. Vascular experience is essential and competency in general and obstetric ultrasound is preferred but not crucial.

You will require qualifications that are recognised by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and must hold a current annual practicing certificate.
