Assistant Motel Manager - Kaikohe
Location: Paihia, Far North, Northland
Pay rate: $25.00 to $35.00 per/hour. Pay will depend on work experience

- Monday to Sunday 8 am

We are looking for 3 x proactive and dedicated Assistant Managers to join our leadership/Admin team, helping ensure smooth daily operations and supporting our commitment to excellence.
Position Overview:As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day functions of the motel, ensuring both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will assist in managing the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, while ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager in managing daily motel operations, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Supervise and support front desk staff, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.Oversee check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest inquiries
Monitor room availability, pricing, and occupancy rates
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Train and mentor team members to ensure consistent service standards
Assist in managing motel finances, including budgeting, payroll, and inventory control
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to maintain cleanliness and functionality
Fill in for other staff members as needed, including covering shifts or handling front desk duties.
Expereince Requriments: Previous experience in hospitality or motel/hotel management (3 years)
Team management skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilities
Ability to handle guest concerns in a calm and professional manner
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
