Plumber/Gasfitter - All experience levels
An exciting opportunity exists in Palmerston North for a Plumber & Gasfitter (all levels) to join the Semtex team.

What we’re looking for -
For Apprentices (1st year onwards):- Genuine interest in plumbing & gasfitting
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Positive attitude and ability to take direction
- Registered Plumber & Gasfitter (Certified a bonus as is Drainlaying)
- Proven experience in commercial plumbing and/or maintenance
- Strong knowledge of current plumbing & gas standards and legislation
- Ability to problem-solve and provide practical solutions
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to use technology and job management systems
- Strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency
- NZ Plumbing & Gasfitting registration/licence (or working toward it for apprentices)
- Site Safe (preferred but not essential)
- Must have NZ working rights
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must be eligible for MOJ clearance
