Retail Assistant - Customer service star!

This is a varied retail role ranging with duties including, but not limited to, assisting on the shop floor, administration duties, processing sales and accounts, creating shop floor displays, filling shelves and racks with stock, creating & processing orders, pricing items accordingly, preparing rental agreements, cleaning of returned rental items, stock management, fitting of car seats into vehicles and by no means least housekeeping and the occasional bit of domestic in-house cleaning.

• The Hours: This is a part-time role, working the hours of 9.30am – 2.30pm - Monday and Thursday and 9.30am – 3.00pm Saturdays.

• The Person: You may be a parent who understands the overwhelming confusion felt when faced with the multitude of items a new baby requires, and the many, many years after, or perhaps you just have a passion for retail Ultimately you will need to be able to deliver exceptional customer service whilst working in a fun and friendly environment. There may be occasions when you will be in sole charge of the retail premises so you must be able to work autonomously as well as being able to take direction.

There is a requirement of lifting heavy items and fitting car seats into restrictive spaces are all part of this role, so you need to be physically fit and able to performs the duties of the role.

• A high level of customer service is required
• Common sense and a bubbly, friendly personality
• Confidence in your abilities and being able to use your initiative
• Attention to detail is a must and Excellent communication skills are a top priority
• High personal presentation
