CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control, which is a type of machine used to make precise cuts and shapes on materials like metal, plastic, and wood. It's all about using computer programming to control the machine’s movements to create high-quality, accurate parts.
What We're Looking For:
- Someone with a keen interest in engineering and machinery.
- Ideally, you have some technical knowledge or previous experience with machines, but full training will be provided.
- You are reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Must be willing to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- A valid driver's license and your own vehicle are required for commuting to work.
Duties You’ll Learn as a CNC Machine Operator:
- Set up and prepare CNC machines for operation, including loading materials and setting tool parameters.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Program CNC machines to perform specific tasks based on given specifications.
- Monitor machine operation during production and ensure the finished parts meet quality standards.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality control.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain precise tolerances.
- Keep records of production, including time and materials used.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
