We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Contract Administrator to join our ITS team in Dunedin on a permanent part-time basis (25 hours per week). Reporting to the National ITS Operations Manager and supporting the National ITS Manager, this role plays a vital part in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) contracts within Dunedin and the rest of wider New Zealand
As the Contract Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to ensure effective contract delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing work orders, raising defects & variations
- Purchase order processing and invoice production and management
- Preparing and submitting monthly claims
- Providing financial month-end support to project managers & contract managers
- Arranging travel bookings
- Assisting with purchasing and coding of credit card transactions
- Supporting project/contract/national manager/s with financial project movement reports and transaction analysis reports
- Assisting with vehicle and plant transactions and charges
- Supporting HSE documentation and reporting requirements
- Preparing meeting minutes and maintaining accurate filing systems
- Assisting with dispatch coordination and ensuring jobs are closed within client timeframes

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Contract Administration
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience preparing and managing contract claims
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience using JD Edwards would be desirable
- Commercial and financial acumen
