Maintenance Fitter
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks (scheduled and emergent) relevant to mechanical equipment on site.
- Implementation and development of routine maintenance checks and associated standard maintenance procedures.
- Assist with the development, and application of safe and practical machinery isolation practices.
- Break down fault finding, basic root cause analysis and development of solutions to extend plant life and avoid breakdowns.
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for installed equipment.
- Proven maintenance fitter experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Qualified Mechanical Technician - Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent
- Experience with cost control
- Familiar with problem solving and risk identification tools.
- Full NZ driver licence class 1
- Flexible to support day & night shifts.
