Assistant Manager

We are looking for responsible Assistant Managers to help organize and run our Retail store.
Our ideal candidate will have a sharp business mindset. You should also be skilled at organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills will also be very useful. Ultimately, the duties of the Retail Assistants are to make sure our store operates effectively, and that we keep our customers happy.You must be available on weekends and public holidays.
Benefits- Wages - $24-$28/hour
- Working Hours - Min 30 hrs/week
- Level 3- Certificate is required.
- OR one year work experience is required.
- 2 year experience will be preferred.
As a Retail Assistant, you are required to perform the following task and duties, but not limited to:-
Fill out the shelves in proper mannerEnsure that all merchandise is displayed as per the manager’s instructions
Ensure food safety and remove expired products from the shelves
Stock the products in required temperatures
Process the checkout operations as and when needed
Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
Follow health and safety guidelines
Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust product positioning
Handle questions from customers
Research emerging products and use information to update the store’s merchandise
Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functional and presentable
Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff
