About the Role

Step into a rewarding role as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our District Nursing services based at Whakatane hospital, where your skills and compassion will directly impact the health and independence of clients in their homes and communities.

We are looking for an experienced senior Registered Nurse with some leadership experience and with community experience who has the ability to provide direct clinical coordination and expertise, ensuring a safe, effective practice environment which supports the management of patient flow in the District Nurse setting.

If you have recent experience in District Nursing, Community Nursing, or Acute Nursing, and acquire the ability to work independently, we invite you to join our enthusiastic, friendly, and experienced team.

We are offering a permanent full-time position (working 40 hours per week) based at Whakatane hospital.

About you

The ideal candidate is an experienced registered nurse significant clinical experience in community nursing, who enjoys working independently in the community.

What you will bring:

Registered Nurse with a current NZNC Annual Practicing Certificate
Relevant post graduate nursing qualification or working towards the same
A minimum of two years nursing experience
Recent experience in District / Community / Acute Nursing (preferred)
Strong ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload

Clean full New Zealand Drivers Licence
