Bring your passion for teaching to a full time registered kaiako role at Busy Bees Lake Terrace. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our closely connected Burwood community and guide our tamariki on exciting local adventures.

About us:
We are a tight-knit team where everyone feels a true sense of belonging. Joining the Busy Bees Aotearoa whanau gives you the support of a national network while working alongside locals who really know and love our community. Our Kaitiaki Kids programme is a highlight of our mahi, where we explore the nearby red zones and wetlands together.

We take pride in our professional standards and our commitment to creating a space where every tamaiti can truly thrive. Whether you are facilitating tuakana-teina moments or helping our tamariki prepare for kura, you will be part of a supportive and connected team.

The mahi:
  • Guiding Learning Journeys: Using Te Whariki as your base to plan and guide the educational and developmental journey of each child.

  • Fostering Connection: Creating a supportive and equitable atmosphere where relationships and a sense of belonging are prioritised.
  • Collaborative Practice: Building effective, positive relationships with the whole team and providing a warm, guiding hand for students and support staff.
  • Nurturing Excellence: Maintaining a safe environment where the physical care and safety of all tamariki are held to the highest standard.
