Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on **Warehouse Manager** to lead and optimize daily operations at our Hamilton facility. This pivotal role demands a leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, ensuring seamless pick/pack processes, order fulfillment, and distribution while maintaining strict health, safety, and compliance standards.

• **Operational Leadership:** Oversee pick/pack operations, order management, and delivery schedules to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• **Health & Safety:** Ensure full compliance with NZ health and safety regulations, fostering a secure workplace culture.
• **Inventory & Stock Control:** Develop and monitor ordering, storage, and distribution strategies. Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain optimal stock levels.
• **Process Optimization:** Implement robust systems for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping goods. Monitor stock movements using advanced tracking software.
• **Team Management:** Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and driving productivity.
• **Stakeholder Liaison:** Collaborate with departments, suppliers, and customers to align logistics and resolve issues promptly.
• **Documentation & Compliance:** Oversee accurate record-keeping for purchases, stock levels, and deliveries per ANZSCO and NZ legal standards.

• **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in warehouse management *or* a relevant qualification (e.g., logistics, supply chain).
• **Licences/Certifications:** Full NZ Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence (OSH certified).
• **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory management software, and communication tools.
• **Soft Skills:** Strong leadership, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication abilities.
• **ANZSCO Compliance:** Knowledge of NZ warehousing regulations, staff training protocols, and operational best practices.
