Class 5 Log Truck Drivers
We have Full-Time positions available based in Lower North Island and Christchurch for Class 5 drivers in our family run operation.
Preference will be given to experienced log truck operators. We require a minimum of 2 years experience towing a trailer.- Full training and supervision will be provided.
- Uniform and PPE gear is supplied.
- Applicants will need to be health and safety conscious, motivated, physically fit and capable of working up to 70 hours per week Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday.
- We offer good hourly rates and equipment in a positive team environment.
- Our fleet consists mainly of late model Kenworth/Mack/Freightliners
The log transport industry is evolving quickly and technology is rapidly replacing paper dockets and log books. We are looking for operators who are comfortable with electronic log books, and also various cellphone Apps for pre-advising loads and electronic log dockets.
We also must comply with various rules imposed by our clients in relation to admittance to their sites/log skids. This opportunity would suit drivers who are not afraid of technology and who understand the importance of communication.
We are a drug free environment and undertake pre-employment and on-going random drug testing.Only New Zealand based individuals will be considered for this position.
