This is a role you can build and grow your skills in and make a genuine positive difference to your career as well as for Māori landowners.Key Responsibilities:Information, Education and Advisory Services formed from an understanding and knowledge of legislation and Court processesInformation and Records Management in our Pātaka Whenua digital systemConsult and liaise with parties / counsel / judiciary to determine case characteristics and develop proposals to progress casesClerking of the Court and Judicial Support ServicesRecording and Transcription of Court proceedingsMaintain and preserve the Court Record Ō pūkenga/Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you'll need:A can-do attitude with a strong customer focusSelf motivation and a passion for high-quality outputsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and qualityEnjoy working in a reactive as well as a proactive environmentAn understanding of Ngā Kaupapa MaoriNCEA level 3 or relevant work experienceSome travel may be required on occasion as part of the role.Experience in using a digital workflow system would be strong asset in this role.
Competence in Te Reo Māori and a NZ driver's license is valued. Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe appointing salary for this role will be between $59,729 and $80,794 based on skills and experience.
