Positions: We have three full-time permanent POOL positions working 80 hours per fortnight

A POOL staff member is a staff member that works covering all of the gaps that we have available due to annual Leave and training. This position means your shift pattern may change from week to week, but you are provided your schedule of 40 hours, at least a fortnight in advance.

You must be available to work both AM and PM shifts, weekdays, and weekends.

Skills and Experience:

  • A passion for people, be patient, friendly and kind
  • Previous Support Worker experience required
  • An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles
  • The ability to understand, communicate and connect with people
  • Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
  • Energy, enthusiasm and enjoy being part of a team
  • Assisting with personal cares when required
  • Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
  • A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH Trust
