We are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Christchurch. This is a meaningful opportunity to be part of a dedicated care home that truly values its people and their contribution.

• Assist residents with personal care (showering, dressing, eating, etc.)
• Support mobility and communication needs
• Participate in the planning and delivery of individual care plans
• Implement therapy interventions for dementia and behavioural support
• Monitor and report changes in condition or care concerns
• Assist with rehabilitation, basic treatments, and medication delivery
• Provide hands-on support to therapists

• Minimum 2 years' experience or NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent)
• Able to work 30–40 hours per week on a rotating 24/7 roster (including weekends)
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• Able to follow direction and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Attention to documentation and detail
• Committed to residents' privacy, safety, and dignity
• Medication competency is an advantage
• Experience in dementia care is highly desirable
