Massage Therapists Wanted
Fuqiao Massage bases in Auckland and offers customers with full body massage, foot reflexology, foot and shoulder massage or head and shoulder massage, by using techniques of the ancient wisdom art from Chinese medicine.
Now, we are seeking a qualified massage therapist to join our team. We would like to offer you an opportunity in Auckland to further your career and hourly rates will be $29 per hour and guaranteed working hours 30 per week.
Responsibilities:
Massaging soft body tissues to relieve discomfort and treating injuries, wellness maintenance or medical conditions.Using massage techniques on specific parts of the body with the hands and fingers to release muscle tension and bring relief from related symptoms.
Discussion with customers about their medical histories and specific stresses or pains in order to develop the most effective treatment plan and advising on exercise and relaxation techniques; Developing personalized treatment plans for individual clients that specifies massage types, treatment areas and treatment frequency.
Performing other treatment techniques and therapies including essential oil, herbal and mineral therapies and Cupping as per customers’ requests;
Skills and Specifications:
- At least 2-year relevant work experience in the health massage industry and having knowledge of techniques from Chinese medicine such as Tuina, and cupping etc will be preferable;
- OR relevant qualifications in the area;
- Willing to learn and have positive attitude
- Attention to details and focus on high quality services
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
