About the RoleWe have a role available for a capable pharmacist to provide a clinical pharmacy service to our patients across both hospitals. Tauranga hospital serves a large population in a rapidly growing city and provides many specialist health services.
Whakatane hospital is a smaller general hospital with a big heart, serving a diverse regional population. You can be predominantly based at either hospital, with some travel between sites. Its the best of both worlds.Our experienced clinical team are managing a growing service.
We can support your development across multiple aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.The applicant must be a team player, with a passion for clinical pharmacy and have excellent communication skills. All pharmacists at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty work with multi-disciplinary teams as part of their medicines management roles.This position can be based in Tauranga or Whakatāne and includes working across both sites.The role also supports dispensary services and includes participation in weekend shifts as rostered.Click here to view the position description.About YouThe successful applicant will be patient focused, have excellent communication skills and be willing to share their knowledge.
Participation in on-call and weekend roster is an expectation.
