This is a delivery driver role where you’ll be the face of our business — delivering goods safely, efficiently, and always with a smile. From scheduled routes to urgent last-minute deliveries, this role is ideal for someone who’s flexible, reliable, and enjoys a bit of unpredictability in their day.
In addition to driving, the role includes general warehouse duties, such as:
- Freight sorting
- Unpacking and packing goods
- Preparing freight for dispatch to other parts of New Zealand
You’ll be working out of our Christchurch branch, which is a small but tight-knit team. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure all daily tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and getting stuck in — this is the role for you!- Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport freight across locations.
Load and unload cargo — some heavy lifting required.
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate delivery records (invoices, receipts, confirmations).
Follow all road safety laws and company procedures.
Deliver exceptional service to our clients — be courteous, professional, and personable.
Communicate with dispatch and team members throughout the day.- What We’re Looking For:
A valid Full NZ Driver’s License (Class 1 or 2) with a clean record.
Must be confident driving a manual vehicle and capable of handling larger vehicles.
Physically fit – frequent lifting and getting in/out of vehicles.
Excellent knowledge of NZ road rules and safe driving practices.
Great people skills — you’re the friendly face our clients will remember.
Strong time management and the ability to think on your feet.
A team player with a good sense of humour and a positive outlook.
