Porter Mechanical Hamilton is on the hunt for an enthusiastic and organised Workshop Parts Support person to keep our busy workshop stocked and running like a well-oiled machine.

About the role:

You'll be an essential part of the team, responsible for sourcing, ordering, and stocking parts and accessories to support our mechanics and workshop operations. From helping manage inventory to assisting with inwards/outwards goods, you'll be hands-on in making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Porter Group is backed by its own dedicated product support and onsite workshops, servicing new and used construction equipment across numerous brands and products - so you'll be part of a strong, trusted team that’s known for getting the job done right.

What you'll be doing:
  • Sourcing, ordering, and issuing parts to technicians
  • Keeping our inventory tidy, organised, and up-to-date
  • Supporting other branches with parts supply when needed
  • Monitoring invoices and preparing delivery paperwork
  • Maintaining a strong focus on Health & Safety
  • Helping apprentices and working closely with the team
What you'll bring:
  • Class 1 Driver’s Licence (Class 2 a big bonus!)
  • Previous industry knowledge and experience
  • Strong mechanical interest or background
  • Great communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
  • A positive attitude and great people skills
