An exciting opportunity now exists for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader — someone who is hands-on, experienced on the tools, and passionate about mentoring and supporting a team of maintenance fitters.
About the role:Reporting to the Reliability Maintenance Manager, you will lead, coach, and support a team of six maintenance fitters. You will play a crucial role in overseeing this team, and have a proactive approach with the ability to be hands-on with the tools.
Your drive and commitment will ensure the team thrive personally and professionally within the organisation. A key focus will be on meeting Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining effective cost management.
About you:Your impressive track record within maintenance leadership in manufacturing sets you up for success in this role. Your ability to bring people together, drive outcomes and deliver efficiencies to the maintenance function is critical.
Your expert knowledge will be instrumental in optimising and elevating every aspect of our refinery’s operations. To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:- Demonstrated leadership and maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) and quality standards experience.
- A positive attitude with a proactive and genuine approach, fostering an environment of openness, trust and collaboration at all levels.
- A willingness to be operationally hands on.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the ability to adjust priorities to meet plant demands
