Showroom Consultant/Admin
As a locally owned and operated company, we pride ourselves on delivering friendly, reliable service to both our trade and retail customers.
We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Showroom Consultant to join our team in central Wanganui.
Position Details:
- Full-time: 41.5 hours per week.
- Work days: Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays 9am-12o’clock.
- Location: Central Whanganui.
- Start date: As soon as possible.
This position would suit someone with experience in bathrooms or the plumbing/building sector; however, full training will be provided to the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service in our showroom.
- Preparing quotes for bathroom and laundry renovations.
- Managing and ordering stock.
- Maintaining stock control and inventory.
- Handling phone and email enquiries.
- Processing packing slips and sales orders.
- Liaising with homeowners, trade customers, and home building companies to assist with product selection and requirements.
- Assisting with administration tasks and trade store as required.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Friendly, polite, and professional communication skills.
- Quick thinker with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Confident using Social media platforms for businesses will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Comfortable serving both retail and trade customers.
- Previous bathroom product knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.
