Trainee Scaffolder

The Job:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for hard working and enthusiastic individuals who are keen on getting into the scaffolding industry and to assist qualified scaffolders in the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding on site, while learning trade skills and progressing toward a scaffolding qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting scaffolding materials.
  • Work under supervision to erect and dismantle scaffolding structures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite, including stacking and storing gear correctly.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements, including use of PPE.
  • Develop knowledge of scaffolding systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Undertake on-the-job training and attend any off-site training as required.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy manual labour.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work at heights (training provided).
  • Commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
  • No prior experience required - training provided.
  • A driver's licence and reliable transport
Conditions of Employment:
  • Monday to Friday work with Saturday mornings as required
  • $25 per hour starting rate with full PPE gear supplied
