Senior landscaper/foreman - Queenstown
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior landscaper/foreman, working within the beautiful Queenstown region.
The role
This is a hands on position where you will work alongside your team, leading a team of 2 - 4 people across a broad range of landscape projects. Our team are experienced in different aspects of landscaping and we are looking for someone with experience to lead a team from start to finish on our projects to ensure our customers receive the high quality of work they expect, within a timely manner.
The type of work we do includes:
Installing steel/timber edging.Earthworks (not essential).
Irrigation installation.
Planting on commercial & residential projects (assisted by our experienced planting crew)Installing timber retaining walls.
Lawn preparation/install.
Installing decking.
Installing various types of fencing.
Installing pathways/driveways (no paving work).
Who we are looking for
Previous experience in a landscape leadership role is essential.Self motivated & able to motivate a team, even on the toughest projects.
Good time management.
Physically fit.
Lead by example.
Able to lead a team effectively on a range of projects.
Experience with budget control.
Experience working from landscape & irrigation plans.
The right to work in New Zealand.
Remuneration package:
Work vehicle (for work purposes only).Company phone.
Full staff uniform.
Pay rate between $35 - $45 per hour, depending on experience with the opportunity of career progression.
