Mō te tūnga | About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for a clinical psychologist to join the Intervention and Support Practice (ISP) team in Northland.
Based in Kaikohe, you will be part of an integrated health service delivering essential mental health support within a custodial environment.
Your focus will be on providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment to those in our care, contributing to their overall wellbeing and rehabilitation.You will be working with individuals experiencing complex mental health needs, including trauma-related presentations.
This role involves conducting assessments, formulating support plans, and delivering interventions tailored to meet the needs of tāngata whaiora.You will also collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance the delivery of holistic and recovery-focused health services.This permanent full-time role offers flexibility, including potential for part-time arrangements.

Ngā painga | The benefitsThe salary range for the role is $83,286- $133,370 per annum.
Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding.
Part-time and flexible work arrangements are available to ensure a work-life balance tailored to your needs.Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
In addition to salary, you will be entitled to five weeks of annual leave after one year of service, increasing to six weeks after four years of continuous service.
