Rotorua - Site Manager

Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 45

Key Requirements: At least 2 years or more of relevant experience.

At least Level 4 or above qualification in related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned horticultural sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to required standards.
• Supervise teams performing planting, pruning, harvesting, spraying, and general orchard or field maintenance tasks.
• Monitor crop health and assist in implementing pest and disease control measures.
• Manage work schedules and allocate tasks to ensure timely completion of seasonal work.
• Liaise with farm or operations managers to report on site progress, labour performance, and any issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety practices and company policies on all worksites.
• Train and guide staff on correct horticultural techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
• Assist with logistics including equipment coordination, chemical handling, and supply management.
• Record daily activities, hours worked, and report incidents or hazards when necessary.
